Pot tapering out from base to flat shoulder curving in to minimal neck, handle comes off shoulder with flat, slightly upturned top and gently curved lower section; lightly-faceted spout comes off centre of body with curved top; body moulded with five broad horizontal flutes. Lightly-domed cover with convex border and flattened top; flat-topped circular knop; short inner flange with two lugs.
Covered all-over in a soapy off-white glaze. Decorated with platinum lines: one broad and three narrow around neck and on cover, one narrow above base and below spout rim, broad line on shoulder edge, inside cover edge and around knop; broader line down centre of handle.
