The Avon Gorge (drawing/watercolour)
a framed watercolour on paper, showing: a view of the Avon Gorge drawn from the Gloucestershire side of the river, not far from the entrance to Cumberland Basin; to the right are the Hotwell House and possibly Rock House, with the end of Windsor Terrace above; to the left, on the Somerset side of the river, is the old cotton mill which burned down in 1831; note, the fact that the artist was born in 1834 and could not have known this view, confirms that this is a copy of an earlier work
