Dress, "of Syrian Arab woman" ... "bought by EGT at Nebbuck between Palmyra and Damascus".
Dress, of basic T shape, closed neck with 4 imitation mother-of-pearl buttons and purple crochet-work-fringed button-hole strip; similar pocket on right breast; sleeves inset and similarly buttoned, but end in triangular fringe with 3 tassels; hem with red cotton bias strip. Of coarse black cotton, tie-dyed with red and yellow spots forming diamond pattern on body, sleeves of similar material, 2 diagonal lines.
