Box, rectangular with indented corners, with lid, porcelain, underglaze blue decorations of classic Ming dragons and lingzhi fungus above rocks and waves, with the character shou 'longevity' in a four-bracketed cartouche in the centre. The base bears the genuine six-character reign mark of the Jiajing emperor. One of a pair with N2627.
