Whieldon type. Lobed rim with moulded edge and border: scroll-edged heart-shaped cartouches alternating with plain sections on which 'SUCCESS//TO THE' 'KING OF//PRUSSIA' 'AND HIS//FORCES' and panels of diapering on which are overlaid a portrait bust of Frederick, a military trophy and a bird.
Covered in mottled grey, brown, green and blue pigments under the lead glaze; underside mainly brown only.
