Ancestral board, wooden board with a square base and tapered to a rounded top, one cut out at the bottom. Ground of cream paint or pigment. Painted stylized bird and snake. Cane edging tie on with cane strips and dark cane strip bound with fibre and feathers bound in. Most of feathers now missing.
