coffin

An anthropomorphic coffin lid. Belonged to a person called Petaherpakhart. The hair is striped (yellow and dark) and the skin on the face is red-brown. There are semi-circles of beaded collars around the neck and the top of the chest. There are registers of scenes of gods with columns of hieroglyphs, including a mummified body on the bier with Anubis either side. There is a block at the bottom of the feet.
