Vase, ovoid body, hollow splayed conical foot, two handles on tapering neck below everted lip. Pinkish terracotta, with some white dressing and accretions of loess. Front and back four-lobed panels reading "subHaan 'allaahun" and "yaa 'al-Hamdu 'l-illaahu" in a form of Naxi, the former carved in low relief, the latter incised outline only. Incompleted with mould for bronze casting.
