La Jeunesse (sculpture)

a cast bronze sculpture, made using the lost wax process, showing: the half-life-size head and torso of a young female figure; the subject is the wife of the artist and was created in the first year of their marriage; this work is number 7 in an edition of 10 and was cast at the Valsuani Foundry, Paris, who were experts on the lost wax casting process
