heart amulet (amulet)

Blue-green faience amulet with brown patches and black birds painted on each side. One side has a vulture with outspread wings (the protection of Isis), the other has a bird (heron or akhet, the soul of Re). The overall shape is oval with a lug on either side and a loop on the top for suspension.
