child mummy skull (human remains)

Mummified human remains. The front section of a child's skull with some teeth in the upper jaw and something stuffed in the nasal cavity. There is skin and bandage stuck to the left temple.

Juvenile partial cranium. Bones present: frontal, ethmoid, vomer, sphenoid, right zygomatic, both nasals, lacrimals, maxilla, and palatines. Errupted dentition: both dm2, M1. I2 about to errupt and I1 possibly errupting, but lost postmortem. Premolars, canines, and M2 visible in crypts. Estimated age 6-8 years old Ubelaker (1979). Criba orbitalia present.
