cartonnage breast cover (cartonnage (mummy trappings))

The bottom half of a breast cover, which is made from linen covered in plaster. It has two semi-cylindrical mouldings representing hair. It has painted decoration showing figures in boxes, like winged and non-winged sphinxes, seated goddesses including Maat and moulded figures covered in gold. The paint is red, green, brown, white and black.
