coffin lid (coffin)

The coffin lid is made of black painted wood and mummiform in shape. There is gilt decoration around the neck and heiroglyphs running down the centre of the lid, but these are barely visible and illegible. No other decoration is visible, leaving the dark wood visible. The top has been scratched. There is a small crack around the neck area and one on the left side too. The feet are cracked and some of the wood is missing. There is a small crack on the left hand side up the leg.
