Sheet of inner bark, used as a canvas, cut from the stringy-bark tree. Earth pigments are used for the paint. Painted on one side with a bird and lizard or turtle design in red, black, yellow white. The bark exhibits a steep but natural curl. "PAINTED BY BIRRIKITJI" is written on the back of the bark (in Ben Probert's handwriting).
