Deep porcelain bow with everted lip with an underglaze blue line around the rim and overglaze lead-fluxed enamel decoration in red, green and yellow with women and children on outside and on the inside, within floral scroll, Bodhidharma (or Daruma). All designs are outline in red. The base bears an underglaze blue mark in teh shape of a Chinese coin with the inscription "chang ming fu gui" [long life, riches and honour]. Made for the Japanese market.
